I'm Michael Maiden the founder of Wheelie Bike Shop. After competing in my first downhill race when I was 13 I was obsessed. My life revolved around racing, being the fastest I possibly could and having the best equipment. When pushing the limits to get the fastest times inevitably crashes occurred and things broke!
Michael wins Tidworth Hooper Hooner
It was at this point I started to learn how to fix my own bike, next thing I knew I was selling my services to friends and family, and then the general public, Wheelie Bike Shop was born!!. I was constantly trying to develop the business and the most obvious next step was to start selling products online. I ran the business while at school for a few years which was very difficult juggling homework and running the business! I now run Wheelie Bike Shop full time from my new shop in Poole, Dorset and put my heart and soul into everything I do.
